John and Sandy are Annita's longtime friends. They had flown into LA a week or so before, along with another couple, and had been driving out towards Dighton seeing all of the sites. If I remember correctly, they actually arrived in Dighton the night that we left to pick up Lee and Ian. If it weren't for them, we probably wouldn't have gotten the hall decorated for the reception.
