The Last Day in New Zealand
We got up and made our way through the celebration of Takapuna, which is similar to Mardi Gras. We ate breakfast at a little restaurant, wandered the streets of Auckland, and then went back to Lee and Ian's to pack. We then made our way to the airport for the flight home.
We landed sometime around noon in civilization. After departing the plane and finding our way to the connecting terminal, I made my way to the bar. I was back home and I was finally going to enjoy a Bud Light!!!! I sat at the bar and took my first drink.....The Nectar of the Gods!!!! I let loose a huge "ahhhhhh" and that caught the attention of the guy at the bar beside me. I looked at him and said, "I've been in New Zealand for the last 18 days, this is my first Bud Light since I left." He looked at me and smiled and replied, "I've been in China for the last 30 days and this is my first Gin!"
